Maybelline Recruits Swedish Supermodel

This Stockholm native will appear in an upcoming campaign.

Swedish supermodel Frida Gustavsson has just been signed by Maybelline New York. She will appear in print and television advertising campaigns, launching later this year.

According to Maybelline New York‘s global brand president Damien Bertrand, “her warm and optimistic personality perfectly embodies the Maybelline New York woman.”

Gustavsson is a Stockholm native who has been featured in ad campaigns for Prada, Jill Stuart, Anna Sui, Mulberry, Paul & Joe, Roberto Cavalli, H&M, Max Mara, Valentino, among others. Her career on the fashion runways includes working with Valentino, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, Chanel, Prada, Fendi, Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Michael Kors, and Oscar de la Renta, among others.

The supermodel has also worked with top photographers, including Patrick Demarchelier and Annie Leibovitz. She regularly appears in the pages of Vogue, Elle, W, Allure, Interview, Self Service, and Pop.

Maybelline New York’s long list of past spokeswomen includes: Christy Turlington, Julia Stegner, Erin Wasson, Kemp Muhl, Shu-Pei Qin, Emily DiDonato, Jessica White, and Charlotte Free.
